Shopping and Services
Blairgowrie is just a 5 minutes drive from our site and contains ameneties such as a tesco superstore, co-operative convenience stores, schools, dentist, doctors, 2 excellent butchers, a fishmongers, various pubs, cafes, restaurants and takeaways, plus many other shops. There is also a bus stop directly outside the entrance to the park for easy access to Blairgowrie.
Perth is just under 20 miles from the park and is accessible by bus. Containing a wide range of shops for whatever your needs.
Dundee is slightly over 20 miles from Marlee and is also accessbile by bus. Much like Perth it has all the shops and services which you may need.
Stirling is slightly further afield at 50 miles but is also excellent for a day of shopping.
Edinburgh and Glasgow are both a similar distance and both easily in commutable distance for serious shoppers with many things to do and see
Walking and Exploring
The Hermitage lies just off the A9 after Dunkeld and is fantastic for walking, relaxing and mountain biking.
Loch of the Lowes is just a short journey towards Dunkeld and is a nature reserve containing all manner of wildlife including deer and ospreys.
Queens view, Pitlochry, is a famous landmark with stunning views over loch Tummel.
The Enchanted Forest,Faskally Wood, Pitlochry, is an award winning show, show during October every year, otherwise Faskally woods are also an excellent network for walking.
Glenshee is close by and offers excellent oppurtunities for skiing and other winter sports.

Arts, Crafts and History
Scone palace is a short distance away and is one of the most famous landmarks in Scotland and is now a 5 star tourist attraction.
Dunkeld Cathedral dates back to 1560 and is still in use today.
Blair Athol Distillery is nearby and has long been a producer of fine whiskeys and offers excellent tours.
Blair Castle in Blair Atholl is the ancestral home of Clan Murray and now offers guided tours of the castle and gardens
Ben Nevis and Fort William
